Dedication
Established in 1982, Central Distribution System (CDS Advantage)
is Northern/Central California’s premier wholesale redistributor
of janitorial & industrial maintenance products and a member
of Advantage Marketing Associates - an international alliance of
wholesalers providing a wide range of the janitorial and industrial
maintenance products.
Our History
CDS Advantage sells to dealers who resell our products to consuming
businesses. We do not sell our products to end-user accounts of
any kind. CDS Advantage provides over 2,500 items available on a
primary basis through our own facility in South San Francisco, California
with another 5,000 products available through the leveraging of
programs from our affiliate company, Advantage Marketing Associates.
ALL products are available on a 24-96 hour basis through an network
of more than 30 regional distribution centers in the United States,
Canada and Mexico.
Products distributed
include almost anything used in a business environment, including
janitorial supplies, industrial maintenance products and foodservice
items. Over 35 manufacturers in total are represented. Our leading
manufacturers include: Advantage Marketing Associates, Claire, Colgate-Palmolive,
Impact Plastics, Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Nilodor Incorporated,
Procter & Gamble, and Rochester-Midland. Advantage's well-known
nationwide brands include: Advantage™, CleanSeat®, ProNature®,
ReNature®, MaintenancePro®, Softness™ and Tidy™
Our specially designed products consist of approximately 300 of
the most commonly-used janitorial supplies: chemicals, mops, brooms,
brushes, dusters, low & high density liners, floor pads, and
a wide variety of generally used sanitary supply products make up
the line. Our Advantage branded products are marketed through dealers
as a complete selling program, featuring dedicated packaging, catalogs,
web site advertising and other marketing materials designed to increase
dealer sales.
